Located on the slopes of Lion's Head, this beautifully designed family home captures the essence of Cape Town summers with ample spaces to soak up the sun, soak in the views or soak off the salt from a day at the beach.
Located at the front of the property, the formal lounge and TV room have stacking glass doors that completely open up both spaces onto the large covered patio. A 12 seater outdoor dining table, outdoor lounge seating, sun loungers and a large, heated infinity pool make this the perfect spot to enjoy a lazy braai (barbecue) with the whole family while watching the sunset over the ocean.
To the back of the ground level, an impressive formal dining room comfortably seats 12 guests and leads into the fully fitted kitchen with scullery and pantry. An airy conservatory to the back of the property is the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast. A guest bathroom completes this level.
A grand double staircase leads upstairs where the bedrooms, gym and study are located. The property also has its own lift for your convenience. The home gym comes with a treadmill, stationary bicycle and free weights. The study is the perfect spot to take business calls away from the entertainment area.
The main bedroom suite is absolutely spectacular. Stacking glass doors slide away to open the entire main bedroom onto the wrap around balcony with uninterrupted views of the ocean. From this vantage point guests could spot whales and dolphins (binoculars are provided). Ample walk-in closet space and his and hers bathrooms (both with bath and shower) complete this suite.
Three additional bedrooms all feature ensuite bathrooms with baths and showers as well as air-conditioning and smart TV's. These bedrooms are located on the opposite end of this level which afford the main bedroom suite privacy - ideal for families with children.

The property is located on a cul-de-sac which makes this an unusually quiet spot in Bantry Bay whilst still having quick access to Kloof Road and Victoria Road. A short drive from the famous beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay in one direction and the V&A Waterfront in the other, means you are right where you need to be.
The Neighborhood:
Bantry Bay is one of Cape Town's most affluent suburbs. Located on the slopes of Lion's Head and overlooking a rocky coastline, it has Sea Point and Clifton as neighbouring areas. Sea Point offers loads of energy - from its famous Promenade to cute coffee shops and convenient grocery stores. Clifton is famous for its white sand beaches regarded as some of the most beautiful in the world.
Bantry Bay is known to be the most wind-free area in Cape Town. Secluded & protected, this area gets about 290 wind free days per year - a significant fact given Cape Town's windy climate.
Getting Around:
Cape Town is not a small city and with that in mind guests should expect to drive to most attractions. The city is easy to navigate and roads are in a good condition - so renting a car is a great way to experience the city like a local. The house has ample secure, off-street parking for your convenience.
For those who wish to avoid parking hassles all-together, we recommend using Uber. Cape Town has an ample supply of drivers and you typically do not wait more than 5 minutes. Private drivers can also be arranged.
Other Things to Note:
Guests should take note that the large swimming pool is not covered and does not have a security gate around it. This means that small children will need to be watched when playing around the pool. Guests will be required to sign a liability waiver at check in acknowledging the risks.
Guests will also need to provide copies of ID's upon booking.
