The 3,500 hectare Mpongo Private Game Reserve offers lodge and chalet accommodations, decorated in a European style with African decorations. All rooms offer an en suite bath or shower. The thatched-roof Huberta restaurant provides a charming view of the Mpongo's property with its swimming pool. There is a traditional boma, a fireplace terrace, where guest can relax in the evening with a drink. Mpongo offers a variety of recreational activities, such as game drive safaris. The reserve is located a 40-minute drive from East London Airport and offers a shuttle service. East London’s beaches are a 30-minute drive away.
