Positive: We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Jeannie’s Plaashuis this past weekend while taking on the Tankwa Trek, and what an incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, Jeannie made us feel like family. After long, tough days of racing, coming back to her home didn’t just feel like a stay—it felt like coming home. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable—fresh ice and clean towels every day, even taking care of our mud-covered cycling gear, which was a lifesaver. Her kindness and hospitality truly set this place apart. And the peacefulness of the farm? Unmatched. Waking up to the stillness of nature and unwinding in such a tranquil setting made the entire experience even more special. If you’re ever in the area, whether for adventure or a peaceful getaway, I can’t recommend Jeannie’s Plaashuis enough.
