Summary: We made a mistake booking here. From check in it didn't go well, the receptionist took us to our room, where the cleaner was just finishing and let us in. It was only a little while later when we went to go out that we realised that we'd not been given a room key! That's the basic thing of checking into a hotel I feel? The room itself was chalet style but quite small, there was evidence of damp in both the bedroom and bathroom and in fact one of our bags and it's contents got damp as we left it by the wall! On our 2nd day with the sun out brightly, we thought we'd lay by the pool for a few hours....nope, the first time we'd ever stayed in a hotel that has a pool but absolutely zero sun loungers! We even asked at reception just incase they'd stored them away but were told bluntly that they don't have any sun loungers! The pool itself had seen better days, like the "resort", everything is tatty. There's a lot of game on the extensive grounds but the walks are not well signposted at all. Overall we couldn't wait to leave.
